According to JVC, the DLA RS500 model provides 1800 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 120000:1 alongside a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without digital image artifacts. The Lens Shift Calculator is available for room planning. Regarding projection size, the value of 1800 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 431 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 287 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 20 decibels. The projector was released in 2015 and is officially no longer distributed by JVC.
