The projector DLA X970 by JVC utilizes DILA technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 2000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1600000:1 at a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without digital image artifacts. The Distance Calculator is available for room planning. Regarding projection size, the value of 2000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 454 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 303 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 20 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The projector was released in 2017 and is officially no longer distributed by JVC.
