The basic data of the JVC DLA-X5000 includes 1700 ANSI lumens, a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 as well as a contrast of 40000:1. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to perfectly align the image even with off-center installations – exact dimensions are provided by the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 419 cm can be illuminated with 1700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 279 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 21 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The projector was released in 2015 and is officially no longer distributed by JVC.
