The Philips Screeneo HDP1590 is a 3D-LED-DLP projector that brings 500 ANSI lumens, a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution alongside a contrast of 100000:1. Thanks to LED technology, the projector is rated for a lifespan of up to 30000 hours – calculating to 20.5 years at four hours of use per day. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 64 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 227 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 151 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since the projector supports Miracast screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 25 decibels. Since entering the market in 2013, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
