The basic data of the Philips NeoPix 520 includes 350 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 as well as a contrast of 3000:1. Thanks to LED technology, the projector is rated for a lifespan of up to 30000 hours – calculating to 20.5 years at four hours of use per day. A look at the light output reveals: The 350 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 190 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 127 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Furthermore, thanks to Android TV, the projector functions as a standalone entertainment center for various video-on-demand services. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Since entering the market in 2022, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.

The projection is okay. A smaller screen width would result in a brighter image.
