The Screeneo HDP1550 model from Philips combines DLP technology in the Short Distance sector with 500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 100000:1 and a native WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a durability of 30000 hours for the LED light source, covering an estimated 20.5 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 64 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 227 cm can be illuminated with 500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 151 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. With a value of only 25 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. This model dates back to 2013 and is no longer part of Philips's current product range.
