The basic data of the Philips NeoPix 244 includes 250 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 as well as a contrast of 3000:1. Philips lists a runtime of 30000 hours for the LED in this projector – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Regarding projection size, the value of 250 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 161 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 107 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Thanks to support for Miracast and Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen.
