A projector from Philips is the PicoPix PPX3410, whose LED-DLP model delivers 100 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WVGA 854 x 480 and a contrast of 1000:1. The built-in LED technology features a light source lifespan of 30000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. Looking at practical performance, up to 102 cm can be illuminated with 100 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 68 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. Since entering the market in 2013, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
