The Neopix 140 model is a Laser-LCD projector from Philips, intended for Game-Portabel applications, offering 150 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000:1 at HDTV 1280 x 720. Philips lists a runtime of 20000 hours for the LED in this projector – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. Looking at practical performance, up to 124 cm can be illuminated with 150 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 83 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Thanks to support for Miracast and Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen.
