A projector from Philips is the PicoPix PPX2495, whose LED-DLP model delivers 100 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WVGA 854 x 480 and a contrast of 1000:1. As an LED projector, the spec sheet indicates a lifespan of 30000 hours – calculating to 20.5 years at four hours of use per day. To reduce dependence on stationary power sources, the model is equipped with a built-in battery for autonomous operation. A look at the light output reveals: The 100 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 102 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 68 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. This model dates back to 2013 and is no longer part of Philips's current product range.
