The Philips NeoPix 950 Smart is a Laser-LCD projector offering 1400 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1100:1 and a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. Philips lists a runtime of 30000 hours for the LED in this projector – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Regarding projection size, the value of 1400 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 380 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 253 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K are supported. With the Google TV operating system, the projector acts as a media hub with centralized access to various apps. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Since the projector supports DLNA screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device.
