As a projector, the Hitachi ED AW100N combines LCD technology with a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800, and is additionally specified with 2000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 400:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 3000 hours. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 94 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 2000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 454 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 303 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2010 and is no longer part of Hitachi's current product range.
