The projector CP-WX9211 by Hitachi utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 8500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500:1 at a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction, granting significant leeway during mounting. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 8500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 937 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 625 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. Since entering the market in 2014, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
