The CP TW2505 model from Hitachi combines LCD technology in the Short Distance sector with 2700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a native WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 5000 hours, which amounts to roughly 6.8 years at 2 hours of daily use. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 60 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 2700 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 528 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 352 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. This model dates back to 2015 and is no longer part of Hitachi's current product range.
