The projector CP WX8255 by Hitachi utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 5500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 at a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800. According to Hitachi, the lamp has a durability of 2500 hours. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 5500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 753 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 502 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2012 and is no longer part of Hitachi's current product range.
