With the CP BX301WN, Hitachi offers a LCD projector that features 3200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. According to Hitachi, the included lamp lasts up to 4000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 5.5 years possible. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Thanks to its low throw ratio, the model is excellently suited for rooms with limited space. A distance of just 80 cm is sufficient to generate an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 493 cm can be illuminated with 3200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 329 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. Since entering the market in 2015, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
