With the PJ LC5, Hitachi offers a LED-LCD projector that features 1200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 300:1 and a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 1200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 302 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 201 cm. The projector was released in 2004 and is officially no longer distributed by Hitachi.
