The Dukane Image pro 8983W is a LCD projector offering 7500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment without distortion. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 7500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 880 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 587 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. The projector was released in 2016 and is officially no longer distributed by Dukane.
