The Dukane ImagePro 8980WU is a LCD projector offering 7000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 3000 hours. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Distance Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 850 cm can be illuminated with 7000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 567 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. This model dates back to 2015 and is no longer part of Dukane's current product range.
