The projector ImagePro 8142WISS by Dukane operates as a LCD device with 4200 ANSI lumens, a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution and a contrast of 500000:1. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 60 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 658 cm can be illuminated with 4200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 439 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2018 and is officially no longer distributed by Dukane.
