With the ImagePro 8138, Dukane offers a LCD projector that features 3800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 4000 hours for this projector's lamp – mathematically sufficient for 5.5 years based on two hours of use per day. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 60 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 3800 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 537 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 358 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. The projector was released in 2020 and is officially no longer distributed by Dukane.
