The ImagePro 8970 is a LCD projector by Dukane, whose specifications list 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2500 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 616 cm can be illuminated with 5000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 411 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by Dukane.
