Behind the name XEED SX800 is a LCOS projector by Canon, whose main features include 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 900:1 and a SXGA+ 1400 x 1050 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 318 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. This model dates back to 2009 and is no longer part of Canon's current product range.
