The basic data of the Canon LV 5210 includes 2000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600 as well as a contrast of 350:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. A look at the light output reveals: The 2000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 389 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 259 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2003 and is no longer part of Canon's current product range.

The Canon LV 5210 is my first projector, bought on Ebay for a measly €125.00. That was about a year ago and I‘ve been using it ever since. And it runs and runs and runs..
Whether Blu-Rays or DVDs, the picture quality is perfectly adequate for my taste.
