The Canon XEED SX6 is a LCOS projector that brings 3500 ANSI lumens, a SXGA+ 1400 x 1050 resolution alongside a contrast of 1000:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. A look at the light output reveals: The 3500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 515 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 343 cm. The projector was released in 2006 and is officially no longer distributed by Canon. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
