The LV 5500 is a LCD projector by Canon, whose specifications list 1250 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 300:1 and a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. According to Canon, the included lamp lasts up to 1500 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 308 cm can be illuminated with 1250 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 205 cm. This is a discontinued model that is no longer officially distributed by Canon. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
