The projector LV 7585 by Canon utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 6500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1600:1 at a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Lens Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 702 cm can be illuminated with 6500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 468 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. The projector was released in 2007 and is officially no longer distributed by Canon.
