The projector XG V10WE by Sharp utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 4700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 400:1 at a resolution of SXGA 1280 x 1024. According to Sharp, the lamp has a durability of 1000 hours. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment without distortion. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 580 cm can be illuminated with 4700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 387 cm. The projector was released in 2002 and is officially no longer distributed by Sharp. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
