The hardware properties of the VX 1000d / Platinum Edition manufactured by Runco include 1500 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1280 x 720 resolution and a contrast value of 3300:1. According to Runco, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for optical image shifting. To plan the individual installation location, a look at the Projection Calculator is recommended. A look at the light output reveals: The 1500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 393 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 262 cm. This device is no longer manufactured and has been removed from Runco's current lineup.
