The projector VX 1cx by Runco utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 1000 ANSI lumens and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 1000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 275 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 183 cm. The projector was released in 2002 and is officially no longer distributed by Runco.
