Based on DLP technology, the Runco VX 5000ci projects images in a High-End Homecinema environment, with technical specs listing 1500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 and a HDTV 1280 x 720 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2000 hours. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment without distortion. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 1500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 393 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 262 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Since entering the market in 2003, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
