According to projectiondesign, the F85 1080p model provides 11000 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 15000:1 alongside a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 1500 hours. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for purely optical image shifting. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 11000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1066 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 711 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by projectiondesign.
