With the evo2SX+, projectiondesign offers a DLP projector that features 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500:1 and a resolution of SXGA+ 1400 x 1050. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction. Precise setup distances can be determined in the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 435 cm can be illuminated with 2500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 290 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 28 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. Since entering the market in 2005, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
