As a projector, the projectiondesign cineo80 1080 combines DLP technology with a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080, and is additionally specified with 6000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 15000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1700 hours before a replacement is necessary. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for purely optical image shifting. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 6000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 787 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 525 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. The projector was released in 2009 and is officially no longer distributed by projectiondesign.
