The hardware properties of the F12 1080 manufactured by projectiondesign include 3500 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast value of 4000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. A look at the light output reveals: The 3500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 601 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 401 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. With a value of only 30 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. The projector was released in 2009 and is officially no longer distributed by projectiondesign.
