The TXF-950 model is a 3D-DLP projector from Wolf Cinema, intended for Short Distance applications, offering 3300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1500000:1 at UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 46 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 584 cm can be illuminated with 3300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 389 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 28 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The projector was released in 2020 and is officially no longer distributed by Wolf Cinema.
