With the SDC-18, Wolf Cinema offers a 3D-DLP projector that features 1000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500000:1 and a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. The manufacturer specifies a durability of 20000 hours for the LED light source – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted without quality loss. The exact adjustment leeway can be calculated in the Lens Shift Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 1000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 321 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 214 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 24 decibels. Since entering the market in 2014, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
