Based on DLP technology, the Planar PR5020 device delivers 3000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 2200:1 as a projector. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 3000 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 3000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 318 cm. Since entering the market in 2006, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.

Don‘t !
Unfortunately, I broke the remote control and it‘s absolutely impossible to find a replacement. Universal controls do not work for Planar and Planar itself does not respond to requests. Otherwise the device is ok, but spare parts are apparently an unsolvable problem.
