The basic data of the Planar PD7010 includes 1000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1280 x 720 as well as a contrast of 2500:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 4000 hours, which amounts to roughly 5.5 years at 2 hours of daily use. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. A look at the light output reveals: The 1000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 321 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 214 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Since entering the market in 2006, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
