Based on DLP technology, the Hisense PX2-Pro device delivers 2400 ANSI lumens, a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 and a contrast of 1000000:1 as a projector. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 25000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 17.1 years at 4 hours a day. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 50 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 2400 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 498 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 332 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K are supported. Thanks to Android TV, the device features an intuitive user interface with direct access to popular streaming apps. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since the projector supports Miracast, Airplay and DLNA screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. The projector was released in 2023 and is officially no longer distributed by Hisense. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
