As a projector, the Hisense C2 combines DLP technology with a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160, and is additionally specified with 2000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 1700:1. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 25000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 17.1 years at 4 hours a day. Looking at practical performance, up to 454 cm can be illuminated with 2000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 303 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Thanks to support for Miracast and Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen.
