Categorized in the Short Distance segment, the PL1 projector from Hisense projects with a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution, alongside 2100 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2000:1. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 25000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 17.1 years at 4 hours a day. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 50 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 466 cm can be illuminated with 2100 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 311 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since the projector supports Airplay screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. This model dates back to 2023 and is no longer part of Hisense's current product range. However, it remains one of the frequently accessed models in our database.
