Designed for the Short Distance sector, the Mira 4K model from XGIMI features 2500 ANSI lumens, a native UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution and a contrast ratio of 20000:1. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 35 cm. Because the manufacturer specifies brightness in ISO lumen values, we have determined an ANSI lumen value for better comparability. Looking at practical performance, up to 508 cm can be illuminated with 2500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 339 cm. Additionally, a built-in ambient light sensor measures the room lighting and automatically adjusts the projection settings. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. With the Google TV operating system, the projector acts as a media hub with centralized access to various apps. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since the projector supports Miracast and Airplay screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 28 decibels.
