As a projector, the XGIMI Halo combines DLP technology with 800 ANSI lumens and a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. The manufacturer specifies a durability of 30000 hours for the LED light source – calculating to 20.5 years at four hours of use per day. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. To reduce dependence on stationary power sources, the model is equipped with a built-in battery for autonomous operation. Looking at practical performance, up to 287 cm can be illuminated with 800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 191 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Furthermore, thanks to Android TV, the projector functions as a standalone entertainment center for various video-on-demand services. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars. Since the projector supports Chromecast screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. Since entering the market in 2017, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
