As a projector, the Pico Genie Periscope Plus combines DLP technology with 200 ANSI lumens and a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160. Thanks to LED technology, the projector is rated for a lifespan of up to 30000 hours – calculating to 20.5 years at four hours of use per day. For mobile use, grid-independent operation is possible for a maximum period of 3 hours thanks to the built-in battery. Looking at practical performance, up to 144 cm can be illuminated with 200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 96 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars. The projector was released in 2019 and is officially no longer distributed by Pico Genie.
