The projector M550 Plus by Pico Genie utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 650 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000:1 at a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800. As an LED projector, the spec sheet indicates a lifespan of 20000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. To reduce dependence on stationary power sources, the model is equipped with a built-in battery for autonomous operation. Looking at practical performance, up to 259 cm can be illuminated with 650 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 173 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Since entering the market in 2020, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
