As a projector, the Pico Genie M550 Plus 2.0 combines DLP technology with a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800, and is additionally specified with 650 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 1000:1. Pico Genie lists a runtime of 20000 hours for the LED in this projector, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. To reduce dependence on stationary power sources, the model is equipped with a built-in battery for autonomous operation. Looking at practical performance, up to 259 cm can be illuminated with 650 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 173 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. With a value of only 22 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background.
