Behind the name omega SX 1280 is a LCD projector by Kindermann, whose main features include 300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 150:1 and a SXGA 1280 x 1024 resolution. According to Kindermann, the included lamp lasts up to 1000 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 300 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 147 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 98 cm. This model dates back to 1997 and is no longer part of Kindermann's current product range.

A very good, absolutely reliable projector that I have converted with a lighting device from an LCD projector with excellent illumination results. It has now been in continuous use in a pedestrian zone for 16 months !
