Based on DLP technology, the Kindermann KWD 120 H projects images in a Homecinema environment, with technical specs listing 1200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a WVGA 854 x 480 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 352 cm can be illuminated with 1200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 235 cm. Since entering the market in 2005, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
