The basic data of the Caiwei HK-A7A includes 234 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200 as well as a contrast of 5000:1. An LED lifespan of 30000 hours is noted in the data sheet for this model – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. Because the manufacturer specifies brightness in lumen specifications, we have determined an ANSI lumen value for better comparability. Regarding projection size, the value of 234 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 155 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 103 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. The projector was released in 2018 and is officially no longer distributed by Caiwei.
